Jinna Hagerty
I’m Jinna Hagerty (Yang Jin Bee). A group of warm-hearted, introspective women who gather to share stories and process our adoptions together? I barely knew I needed or wanted this. I'm learning how to see myself as Korean and I have this community to support my journey. In my work, I consult as a design strategist mixing visual design, facilitation, and heaps of curiosity.

Susan Ambrose
I’m Susan Ambrose (Kim, Soo-Hyun). Sharing a safe space to interact with KAAW is incredible, I find it validating and empowering. We respect our mutual journeys as KADs, and support each other without judgement. I'm a language instructor and international student advisor at a private college in upstate New York.

Nori Lowe Henk
My name is Nori Lowe Henk. I currently reside in Los Angeles with my partner and two kids. I started getting involved in the KAD community because of my kids, to help them connect to their Korean roots, but I have to come realize that I need this community, too. In particular, spending time with Korean American Adopted women has been special, powerful, cogent, emotional. We are far from being alone in our experiences while at the same time our support group celebrates a diversity of unique experiences. I hope you feel a sense of belonging in this space, too.

Stacey Fargnoli
I’m Stacey Fargnoli (Kim Mi Ok), a freelance writer, living in Los Angeles with my husband and two boys. Disconnected from my heritage most of my adult life, this group has given me an unexpected and deeply-rooted sense of belonging. I’m learning all the time from these kind, brilliant, strong Korean American Adoptee Women. It’s an honor to be among them.

Dan Moon
I’m Dan Moon (Mun Hyung Tak). My passion lives in forging strong communities, particularly the increasingly visible and vocal adoptee community. I’m continuously learning and navigating this third-culture life, and excited to work alongside other adoptees along the way. In my professional life, I work at a nonprofit in Ann Arbor, MI.
